Il est très frustrant d’avoir froid en été. Pour cela nous avons dessiné un SEAFARER HYBRID qui tient chaud : Il est fabriqué avec les mêmes technologies qu’une 3.2mm intégrale, nous avons juste coupé les jambes.
La SEAFARER nous ramène à l'essentiel de ce qui fait une bonne combinaison, ni plus ni moins : chaleur, confort, durabilité. C’est une combinaison sans fioritures, bien coupée et dotée de matériaux haut de gamme.

C’est frustrant d’avoir froid lorsqu’on navigue en été.
Alors que le standard de l’industrie est de développer un patronage 2D pour tenter de l’ajuster à un corps en 3D, nous avons décidé d’innover et de changer de méthode. Nous utilisons un logiciel de conception pour modéliser des combinaisons bien ajustées en 3D, puis nous employons un software innovant qui les convertit en un patronage 2D précis pour notre usine.
Les combinaisons MANERA se démarquent grâce à ce fit naturel, ajusté comme une seconde peau.
Chaleur : Pas d’entrée d’eau, pas de poche d’air.
Durabilité : Le néoprène n’est étiré que lors des mouvements.
Confort : Pas de parties trop serrées, pas d’inconfort au niveau des aisselles, de l’entrejambe.
Style : Les plis ne seront jamais à la mode.
Les prints d’étanchéité bloquent les entrées d’eau aux chevilles et aux poignets, ils maintiennent aussi les panneaux des avant-bras et des mollets en place. Ils sont assez souples pour ne pas gêner l’enfilage et le désenfilage.
Certaines zones de la combinaison sont particulièrement sensibles aux frictions, tensions et déchirements, c’est pourquoi nous avons conçu les combinaisons MANERA de façon à :
. Éviter toute couture dans les zones de fortes tensions, ce qui accroît la flexibilité et la durabilité.
. Être sûr que les coutures forcent de façon verticale et non pas de façon horizontale.
. Enlever toute couture des zones de friction, ce qui évite les irritations et améliore la flexibilité.
. Renforcer les zones et panneaux de manière stratégique.
Les différentes couches de néoprène sont fusionnées au niveau des bras et des jambes, cela rend la finition plus fine et plus esthétique. En l’enrobant, elle protège aussi la mousse néoprène intérieure (AIR-FOAM).
Les combinaisons MANERA utilisent un procédé qui apporte une meilleure durabilité, étanchéité et un meilleur flex.
Les différents panneaux de néoprène sont collés puis “Blind-stitched” (l’aiguille ne traverse pas entièrement l’épaisseur de néoprène). Le SD2 TAPE est ensuite soudé à chaud pour terminer la couture. Ce procédé innovant apporte une meilleure durabilité, étanchéité et plus de flexibilité.

Le mix de ces trois matières apporte les essentiels de ce qui fait une bonne combinaison : Chaleur, souplesse, confort.
Stretch & Légèreté
La polaire X10D offre une bonne isolation thermique tout autour du buste, ses milliers de petites boucles enferment la chaleur de votre corps et créent donc une barrière contre le froid extérieur.
La polaire X10D est aussi 22% plus légère qu’un jersey classique, nos modèles X10D se font donc facilement oublier sur l’eau.
Étant en contact direct avec la peau, le tissu intérieur est une partie importante de la combinaison. Notre tissu X10D offre un maximum de stretch et de légèreté, mais aussi un ressentit doux et soyeux sur la peau. Sur les modèles MAGMA, le tissu X10D est recyclé.
La S-foam est fabriquée à partir de matière calcaire. Elle prodigue les essentiels avec un excellent ratio flexibilité - chaleur - durabilité.
Née des dernières innovations en termes de tissus extensibles, la RE-FLEX SKIN est extrêmement flexible, durable et résistante aux UVs. Elle accompagne vos mouvements et les rends plus explosifs.
Before being cut into several slices of a specific thickness, the neoprene is cooked and then shaped into a clean, rectangular slab.
We have a single, trustworthy supplier with whom we have been closely working since 2012.
SHEICO is a Taiwanese company that produces our goods in Cambodia, and they also produce most of the world’s premium wetsuits. Manufacturing around 45 million wetsuits a year, they can have a huge impact on the global wetsuit market’s CO² emissions.
SHEICO claims that a wetsuit with all the greener technologies listed below emits 24% less CO² than a standard wetsuit. If all SHEICO customers chose to implement all these just like we do, then the whole industry would save 12,1 million kg of CO² emission every year.
This model features a 83% recycled nylon outside jersey and a 100% recycled nylon inside jersey.

However, if you think that limestone is much better than oil, think twice. Limestone is a limited, nonrenewable mineral that must be extracted from the earth. Creating neoprene from it is an energy-intensive process and is thus not so superior in terms of environmental impact than petroleum.
If you are looking for a wetsuit with a reduced environmental impact, we have what you need: The ALT. This new model is made from Yulex Pure® natural rubber which claims to reduce the overall carbon footprint of a wetsuit by 80%.
Our Yulex Pure® wetsuits are around 30% more expensive than our highest priced wetsuits.
We do understand that not everybody can afford it. We are here to help passionate people make the most of their time in the water, and not to only target a higher social class.
While we and other brands will launch more and more natural rubber wetsuit models, the price of raw material should become more and more affordable. Then, bit by bit, we will be able to switch all our neoprene goods to Yulex Pure®, without our customers breaking the bank.
Carbon black is mostly used as a colorant and reinforcing ingredient in the rubber tires industry. It also happens to be a key ingredient in the manufacturing of neoprene.
At SHEICO, carbon black is sourced from pyrolyzed used tires, which reduces energy consumption and saves around 200 g of CO² emissions per wetsuit.
The glue that binds the jersey fabrics to the internal neoprene foam is now water-based instead of solvent-based.
Dyeing the fabric consumes a lot of water, so the threads that make up our fabrics are dyed before being woven. This considerably reduces water usage while reducing energy consumption and water pollution.

The energy that our suppliers use is a crucial part of a brand’s carbon emissions. Having an eco-design is useless if your product is made using non-renewable energy.
We must protect our wetsuits from any contact with humidity or the sun so that they preserve their qualities when they arrive in the shop. Shipping wetsuits without a proper protection could cause irreparable damages to the neoprene.

Everyone knows their weight and height, so we only use this data, as well as some friendly advice:
1. Weight is the priority: Find your weight in the grid, then your height. Choosing your wetsuit is first a matter of volume, so weight comes before height.
2. It is necessary to feel tight when trying on our wetsuits. We offer an innovative 3D cut; it should be very tight. Neoprene loosens after a few hours in the water; if you take a size that is too loose, the wetsuit will not fit properly after a few sessions.
3. We give size ranges because each body type is unique. When you are in the low range of the interval (ex: 70kg for a size M man), you will have a rather loose wetsuit. When you are in the high range (ex: 78kg for a size M man), you will have a rather tight fit.
4. Inter-sizes "tall": We recommend a size "T" for a tall and thin morphology, from 10kg below your height on (ex: 70kg for 180cm = St).
5. Inter-sizes "short": We advise the size "S" for a short and wide morphology, from 10kg above your height on (ex: 75kg for 165cm= Ms).

To take accurate measurements, you will need a proper measuring tape. You should always stand straight, without moving your waist/chest. Each circumference measurement must be taken horizontally, and the tape should be stretched but not tighten.
Height is measured from the top of your head to your soles.
Neck measurement is taken horizontally and under Adam’s apple. Keep your head straight and look in front of you.
Chest measurement is taken at the widest point of your chest, under your armpits at the same level as the shoulder blades.
The torso measurement is taken with the measuring tape placed around your bust, just under the pectorals.
Waist measurement is taken around your belly, by passing the measuring tape at the level of the navel.
Hip measurement is taken around the bottom on the widest point of your hips.
