As a kid, Josh always dreamt of flying. He learned to kite in Durban alongside his father, and his life truly changed when his family moved to Cape Town and he witnessed firsthand what Big Air was truly all about.

Daring and ambitious, Josh always aims to reach new heights and is constantly looking to master the next big trick. Eager to leave his mark on his sport, he looks forward to traveling the world and discovering more incredible spots, even though he already knows Cape Town will be hard to beat.

Josh Interview

Can you tell us more about your passion for your sport?

I started kiteboarding when I was eight years old, and I’ve just been stoked on it ever since.

You just won the lottery, what do you do first?

Probably travel around Europe and go look for some cool places to kite!

What is the most incredible thing that you have lived?

Cape Town’s south-eastern wind!

" I’ve just been stoked on it ever since "
What do you do with your day when there is no wind?

Go surfing, but if the waves aren’t good then I’ll go for a gym session.
