Greg Interview

Can you tell us a bit more about your passion for kitesurfing and wing foiling?

For me, kitesurfing is magical, especially to play in the waves! But a foil or a twin tip are also great for riding and enjoying the wind. I do prefer the big, fall sessions in strong winds. The adrenaline, the ability to manage it all, and the jumps make these sessions unforgettable. As soon as you get out of the water, you dream of the next one.

You just won the lottery, what would you do first?

I travel with my daughters to show them the most beautiful spots on the planet.

What’s the most amazing thing you’ve experienced?

A session at Platboom in South Africa. There were only two of us in the water, and frightening conditions, it was really strong!

What are you doing during a day without wind or waves?

Crossfit as much as possible, but I also like photography. I’m always planning the next session as well because we are lucky to have very few days without winds. I’m always spending time on the water!
