Gatien Interview

Can you tell us a bit more about your passion for surfing?

My passion for surfing began at a young age, largely influenced by the environment around me. Growing up near the ocean, I’ve always been captivated by the power and beauty of the waves, and how they seem to endlessly reshape the coastline. To me, surfing is not just a sport, it’s a way of connecting deeply with nature.

You just won the lottery, what do you do first?

If I were to win the lottery, the first thing I would do is plan an unforgettable trip with my family and closest friends. One of the things that has always appealed to me is the idea of spending quality time with the people I love in a unique and exciting environment. A boat trip would be the perfect way to combine adventure and relaxation while enjoying the beautiful surroundings of the open sea.

What’s the most amazing thing you’ve experienced?

Winning a competition, or releasing an edit you’re proud of brings an incredible sense of satisfaction and accomplishment. It’s a mix of positive emotions: excitement, pride, and sometimes even a bit of relief.

What do you do with your day when there are no waves?

When there are no waves, I enjoy spending time with my friends fishing. It’s a great way to relax, bond, and enjoy each other’s company while still being outdoors and close to the water.
