Edo
Tanas
From Italy to Hawaii, Edo’s journey is sculpted by the sea. A versatile athlete, Edo first took up windsurfing, honing his skills at home on Lake Garda. After moving to Hong Kong with his family, he quickly became a force to be reckoned with, notably winning the European Championships in 2016. Recognized for his competitiveness and work ethic, his path to the Olympics was nearly set in stone until the pandemic.
After deciding to move to Hawaii, he discovered prone foiling and SUP downwind in between university classes and was immediately hooked. Fueled by the freedom on the water, Edo loves to challenge himself and has already placed third in his first Moloka'i to O'ahu race in 2023.
