Antoine is a former KPWT champion. Now, his job is to explore the world and document the most famous winds and how they impact human lives. He’s living out his dream of being in the wilderness, discovering new lands, kitesurfing new spots and meeting new people.

He’s never really home, but for Antoine home is wherever the wind is.

Antoine Interview

Can you tell us a bit more about your passion for kitesurfing?
I started kitesurfing 15 years ago, because I directly saw that it was a pure sport with lots of potential. It’s a mix of all the sports that I love: gymnastics, trampoline, windsurfing…
Today when I go kiting, I still have a big smile on my face before, during and after a session… I love to be in the water.

You just won the lottery, what would you do first?
I would travel around the world with my friends and family with no watch or way to keep track of time — just following the wind and waves. I would also help kids around the world.

What’s the most amazing thing you’ve experienced?

Kitesurfing in big cities like Paris and New York. It has always been a dream for me to kite in such places, and try to connect with nature in between the buildings.

What are you doing during a day without wind?

I do a lot of yoga, running, slackline, paragliding, SUP… I always find a way to play with Mother Nature ! You can watch my vlogs on my YouTube channel to get a feel my universe.
